Kioti DK50SE w/ loader and Woods 90x backhoe, Allis Chalmers C with front snowplow
I am considering a purchase of either a DK40SE or a DS4110, I am wondering if the Kioti backhoe has replaceable bushings? I am looking into other brands as well if I can find one with good specs for less money, so far I am going to look into Woods, Wallenstein Rancho, Bush Hog, Rhino, and Bradco. So far the only one that mentions bushings is the Rancho. Does anyone know if any of these other brands have replaceable bushings or if there are any other good brands I should research?

Kelley makes very nice backhoe. Quite sturdy, easy to install, self-leveling, almost 10 different bucket to choose from. Self decelerating (no need for bumper) there're very smooth to operate. Side stabilizer are among the larger on the market (very stable). Grease nipples are made of steel, well place so you're not reluctant to do maintenance!

If you can, try them before buying it!

Kelley Manufacturing Corporation

Good shopping!

I was looking online for Bradco last night and I couldn't seem to find a corporate website for them with specs and dealer locator etc. All I was coming up with was implement sales type websites.

It isn't hard to find a better backhoe than a Kioti, but the better ones I know of (Woods, Bradco) probably won't be cheaper.

the specs on that rhino had me interested, does it have replaceable bushings? That is one thing I am interested in and do they have a subframe that fits your DK45 or is that a 3pt mount? Now I have changed course on the tractor, I am looking at a hydro DK50 they price is good, I don't see the sense in going with the 40 I was looking at when the price difference is so small.

Why do you want replaceable bushings? most use replaceable pins.

I would think they should have pins and bushings replaceable, even with replaceable pins the wear points on the hoe can still wear to the point new pins wont even tighten it up, at that point u can replace the bushings and its good as new, without replaceable bushings if ur hoe wears replacing pins won't improve it much, happens at work all the time with our equipment, new bushings tighten them right back up. At work I almost wish they didn't have bushings, then maybe they'd buy us some new equipment once in awhile ;)

But you only want one of them to be a wear item not both.

you are right, I don't know what I am thinking sometimes:confused2:, they have the holes line bored to tighten them back up with new pins, the bushings are in the rams, duh.

I love my 95c I don't believe the bushings ate easily replaced but if you grease it often that will never ne a problem

I'm trying to remember , I think it was7800 for the hoe and 500 for the subframe you don't need the aux pump just plug it into the remotes it's fast and works fine around 1500 rpm also I put it on myself it was easy .

The dealer quoted me 7700 for the Kioti 2485 hoe, but the Rhino digs deeper and is stronger, even the Rhino 85 digs deeper and has more power.

I've used a Kioti 2485 on my original DK-35se/hst and now on my current DK-40se/hst and have had virtually NO problems with it's strength, function, etc. Properly plumbed by your selling dealer it will perform as well as anything else for the price point, IMHO. If you need something more rugged and are using it everyday or similar, you need something other than a TLB- you need an actual backhoe; and bushings are the least of the problems you will encounter if using it for everyday construction type digging. Please state your particular use requirements.

I am not going to be using it for work or "everyday" but for the money they get for these things I want the most powerful and deepest digging depth for my money, I simply like the Rhino specs better. If all I'm planning to do is pull a stump or 2 a year buying a $7-8000 tractor attachment is kinda silly in the first place. My old boss has a 6ft 3pt bush hog hoe he has used for his business since 2004 with no problems so any 8 or 9 foot backhoe should easily hold up to what I want to do with them otherwise they are all junk. In a perfect world I would go buy a tractor with a 3pt and a mini excavator but I cannot afford nor store 2 machines and the tlb option is the most versatile. I'd think a 50 horse tractor with a 9 ft hoe should be pretty darn rugged anyways. Now if I cannot find a 8 or 9 foot hoe cheaper than the Kioti 2485 then by all means I will probably buy that unless the difference is minimal, I'm sure it works fine just want to look at what else is available before buying anything.
