Not in the market to buy again for a while, but I'm interested to hear from anyone who has a Kioti RX. I like many of the specs / features but want to hear how well it works in the real world. How is the turbo engine? seems on the small side for a tractor this size. How smooth is the power reverser and the synchronized main gear?

Are you trying to start another thread like the current 21 pg "pricing" fight going on?

The reason I started a new thread on this was because I wanted to separate it from the discussion going on in that other thread. The RX is a tractor I'm very interested in. I'd like to hear from those with experience with this tractor if they are out there.

I always do my best to difuse pointless arguments while also getting acurate information out there.

I have a RX6010 and it is a great tractor, The power reverser works very good and the main (4 speed) transmission shifts easily, the range transmission is a little clunky and the detents between medium and neutral take a little getting use to but not a issue really, there is just some room for improvement there.
The engine is powerful, Mine is not tier 4 so its old school simple but it also has some smoke on cold starts, very easy on fuel, cab is very comfortable from 90 above to -30 below weather we get up in Minnesota, here are a couple short videos if you want to see it in action.

Thanks Thorholt! That's a nice looking tractor. If I end north (which is a possiblity), I'll be wanting a cab and if I get a cab I might as well move up a trator frame size. The RX is high on my list of tractors I'd consider. Is the power reverser usable in high range and is there a way to modulate how fast it engages?

The power reverser is adjustable through the switch on the side panel, I have not needed to set it though as it has worked good as I got it, It modulates good at high engine speeds or idle, the only time it engages a little rough is if you are in a real low gear like low range and 2nd or so and I would imagine it is just because of the ratio then.

Chip, I watched your videos. The garden tractor wheel as bolt shaker is genius! Are you on the Minnesota side of the Red River valley, north of Detroit Lakes somewhere? I saw the video of you driving through the flood from two years ago.

Yes Eric, I am from Thief River Falls but the tractor is used mostly up by Grygla at our cabin. The video of the flood is actually out on Lake of the Woods though, we were going out to get the Fishhouse off the lake after a rapid warm-up and had a few miles of that water, Spooky!
We used to go 4 Wheeling in your neck of the woods in the Foothills State Forest by Backus a few years back, Nice county over there, Love the Lakes and hills.
