Seriously, thanks for the tips. I will check this guy out to see how "legit" he is. I'd like him to be, 'cause he's about the closest I'd find. But he's going to have to meet a lot of support criteria before I'd consider buying from him. I think dealer support is just as important, if not more important, as what machine you finally decide on.

Thanks for the reply ob1. I am getting used to the sound,
the hp is plenty no mater what it is. I recently added a hydraulic top link and really like the ease and versatility it added.

Receive my lk3054 in nov of 2000,It was new,It now has 195 hours on it .I have rake hay,Plow in ky red clay with 2 16" plows no touble to pull.Added fuild to rear tires,R4 tread on it
And keep my 4 acres move.I look at alot of small tractor brand.The Kioti was a lot better on weight and lift power,motor
was the same as the better brand models.Have had no regrets
to owning one.I will try to up load picture.

I am new to this board, I just purchased a Grey market Kioti which is to say it's a Daedong model L2601, which is almost identical to a LK3054, enough so that I can use the parts and service manual for most of the service that it needs. This is a '92 model with 1782 hours on the Tach, not sure of the history but this is a very well put together tractor. I would give it a 9 out 10 I do have to be carful when getting off of it, as my size 12 boots will get hung up on something. I will be using it for bush hogging and grading, and hope to get a tiller for it to use for gardening, or maybe just get a 2 bottom plow and disk. So far I have been very impressed with it while cutting the underbrush in my wood lot, which is has some steep slopes but with 4WD engaged it just walks up them no problem.

I do agree the plastic grill is a problem but I will be making a guard for the front so the I won't have to worry about busting it up when going thru the thick brush with it.

As I read through these posts, I remembered that about a year ago I lost the sight glass on my LK3054 and lost 2 gallons of transmission fluid before I figured out where the leak was coming from. Dealer put one in the mail, got it the next day, and no problems since.

LB1914 TLB. I give it a 9 out of 10 for performance and utility. Add to this the low price, and I don't think I could've done nearly as well with any other brand. I'd recommend Kioti to anyone and everyone.

I've just bought a DK55C this weekend. To be honest I was a big ford/new holland guy and was planning to by a TN60, and I also looked at the Kubota L5030. Just for fun - and the fact that I know a few folk that bought Kioti's - I check out the DK55C.

I looked long and hard at the specs, the integrated ROPS (my small farm has lots of hills), the engine, axles... you know the stuff. The DK was built like a hoss, and I felt quite comfortable with it in comparison to the NH60.

My brother has a Kubota and really pushed my for Hydro, but I also have a smaller Kubota and was a bit leery about more HP and a pump - so I went with the regular xmission.

Overall I'm very pleased and couldn't have found that much tractor for the $$ any where else. To be honest I didn't look at the other tractors other than JDs, so I might be off on the Masseys, etc.

I got the 1595 and most importantly ... a WR Long grapple bucket. I can't tell you how much work that has saved me. I now have 11 hours on the tractor just from the weekend and one evening this week.

I lifted some heavy heavy stuff - too heavy maybe - and that thing is the BOMB. The DK55 has the juice to do what I need, although more HP than I really need, but I wanted the size and weight.

To be honest, I'm pretty tough on tractors. You should see my ole ford 801 diesel. I'm keeping that baby as it is one of the toughest bushhog machines going... and I don't want to scratch my DK55C yet /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
