Kioti LB1914 bevel gears

Hello all. I am replacing the seals on the front axle of a kioti LB1914. I have replaced the seals, but cannot get the gears to mesh properly. I might have the bearings in upside down or something. There are some shims on the bottom plate and I have installed them like I found them. I looked online at the parts diagram, but it the did not show if the bearings are upside down or not . Can anyone help on this? Thanks drosenkrantz.

I have found that I was trying put the shaft upside down. ( Duh ). Leaks are gone, and life is good. When you get old, 2 weeks between the tear down and rebuild is a whole new process. Thanks Dave rosenkrantz.
