I've been studying tractor options for an upcoming purchase. I have local dealers for Kubota, NY, JD and semi-local for TYM (50mi). I like the specs on the Kioti (CK 20 or 25, HST) but no local dealers show up for my zip code on the web page. I would like to see one and get some pricing, anyone know of a source for Kioti in KCMO area? Thanks -

There are Kioti dealers in West Plains MO and Doniphan but that is quite a ways from you.

I am in Lawrence Kansas with the same questions last year. Wichita Tractor will deliver. Also Depratt equipment is in southern Kansas and is sometimes on this board. He was VERY good with questions I had at that time. I think KC BOBCAT has the white version.

Depratt Equipment in Columbus gets my vote, they've helped me many times over even though I didn't purchase my tractor there. I actually purchased my first from the Doniphan, MO dealer, who was quite cheap at the time.

I thought there was a dealer in Spring Hill?

I'd give Depratt a call if I were you.

Wow..when did this happen?
First I've heard of this. Their website still list Kioti.

About a month or so ago.
But no need for anyone to worry he is still taking care of his customers.
We have been and will continue to work with him for as long as I am in business.

You might be thinking of the dealer in Stilwell. He quit selling Kioti around 3 years ago and went to another brand. He deals mostly ZTR. It would be nice to see Kioti around the Kansas City area.

I guess that, in a way, Kioti is in KC area in the form of Bobcat. Went and checked them out at KC Bobcat this week. I really like the CT225. I just sat on and looked at it, no test drive yet. With FEL and optional suspension seat (which is a must have, best seat I've seen), around $10,500 cash price. Or, around $13,500 if you need financing, 0% for 60. That cash price would be hard to beat.......

there used to be a kioti dealer about an hour SE of KC, but I can't remember the name of the place.

I was kinda interested in a Kioti but find it kind of scary the way dealers have come and gone around here.

Kioti, like the majors, has decided that dealers need to be doing over a million a year to be viable...I thought I would be out last year, but found being bigger, stocking more and doing what they say has improved my business... go figure. Its a great tractor and a good company, so long as you play the game by thier rules... JD dealers have delt with that for years... KIOTI rewards larger dealers and makes life tough for small dealers. bottom line... get big or get out.. Is it good? I didn't think so, but our sales continue to increase, so maybe they have something they may force me to grow more than I would have thought about. We'll see. I cant find a better tractor to offer my customers.
