Mowing Kioti finishing mower, grease fittings . . .

and it has been somewhat helpful but not completely. I need to rethread a hole for a grease fitting on my Kioti finishing mower. Problem is I am not sure if it is a straight metric thread or is it tapered. The dealership offered to come by the house and retap it Sat. morning for me but I have access to a standard Lowes issue tap set with a 6mm x 1 tap which I am assuming is what I need. If so I was going to go ahead and do it tonight. Anyone have knowledge in this area?

Ah, so a 6 or 8 mm tap from HD or Lowes should fit the bill then?

An 8mm tap from Lowes did the job. Worked like a charm. Thanks for all the help.
