Kioti DS4510 starting issues

Hey all, new to the forum, but m having an issue with my DS4510 (I believe it is a 2010 model).
I got it about 6 months ago and have not had any issues, until a few weeks ago it decided to not start.
I had just changed the oil, and went to start it with no luck. I tried a second time and it started, but only if I held the key in just the right position (not turned all the way). Now it does not start at all.

This led me to believe it was either the starter of the ignition switch, so I had the starter rebuilt and put a new ignition switch on it and still no starting.

I have tested the starter solenoid, the relays, and the battery, but nothing has worked so far.
The starter works if I bypass the ignition switch, which leads me to believe the grounds are fine, and it must be something else.
The old ignition switch would power up the glow plug light on the dash, the new ignition switch does not power up the glow plug light....not sure if that means the dealer messed up and gave me the wrong one?

Any thoughts?

Does the replacement switch look similar to the original? There are reported issues with older Kioti ignition switches. I have 2012 DK45 and though I have had no issues the switch feels kind of loose inside.

It is different from the old, the dealer said that they changed the design…..I’m wondering if they got me the wrong one.

Update, im checking into the starting relay again, Im getting 9-11 volts from ignition switch at starting relay, and nothing coming out the other side. I’ll have to pick up a new one tomorrow

I went thru this on my 2008 DK40. We checked/double checked everything and out of frustration decided to add a push button start straight from the battery to starter....that was 3 ish years ago & no issues. Btw, "key on" still works to operate the glow plugs, but it will not turn the engine over.

That’s a good idea, i might give that a shot if the relay doesn’t work

My dk45se ignition switch went out about 5-6 years ago. The new one looked a little different too. It has held up great. I'm with you on the relay... They are the Debil.....

Putting in new relays did the trick, i guess they were both bad so when I swapped them the first time it didn’t do me any good

I suggest to check operation of trans neutral start switch & be sure pto is disengaged well. Also starting circuit relay could be at fault.

Those dang relays are always a source of headache. The one controlling my rear windshield wiper is erratic. Im going to replace it when it warms up. I keep several spares
