Kioti DK45S Joystick Woes

Glad you got it fixed. Don't know if you have a parts or service manual but they are invaluable for anyone that works on their own machine. Next best thing are the factory parts diagrams. Almost all tractor brands now have online diagrams, usually linked through dealership websites. Never as useful as a factory manual....ALWAYS more useful than guessing how something goes together or what a part is.

Yes, I did find online exploded parts diagrams but even with full zoom I could barely make out the details. Once I had the clue about the third post being stationary, I went back to the diagram and could see the screw. The part number description was wrong but I could tell it had to be a cap screw. Called the closest Kioti dealer and he validated for me the correct screw. Solved.

I will likely have this tractor for another decade so I really should find the real deal manual. Any idea where the best source would be for that? Otherwise I will just google my way there.

Kioti workshop service manuals and parts manuals are dealer only items, and kind of pricey. Lots of bootleg CDs on eBay.

I bought the manuals from my dealer. About $105 for workshop, much less for parts but don't remember exactly.

Bought a PDF manual off the net. Looks like a shop manual from the factory. It's the online parts diagram that is an eye chart that gives me trouble. Zoom all you can and it's still hard to discern what you are looking at. Perhaps I can find a better copy in a PDF somewhere. But the Kioti is working GREAT.
