Sounds like a sticking switch. It's pretty accessible right above the fuse box. I'm assuming you have determined that the parking brake is not on all the time.

Edit: I'm an idiot, of course the switch isn't above the fuse box, the brakes are on the opposite side of the tractor on the DK. I'd guess it's on the right side, just up under the dash, still accessible, but could be wrong.
