Also, I went thru the gammit on my DK40 with the same problem:
Hey, thanks for the advise. I did try switching them with no effect. I am pretty handy untill it gets to electrical so once we go down that road Im willing but not comfortable. Its completely random. Also some times when it does it. it will kick the starter for a millisecond then cut out. Like barely a bump if that makes since.Chief, most of your relays are in your fuse box. You could try swapping your headlamp relay with your start relay and see if that changes anything.
