Hello,
I damaged most of the wiring on my tractor right at the quick connections between the main wiring harness and the right rear fender harness. The damage was concentrated to the wiring for a single plug. I have elected to hard wire those wires together. In doing this I have a couple of issues.
-pto will not engage (light comes on at the dash, tractor won't start with the switch on but the pto won't turn.
-cruise control engages but will not disengage without turning off the key.
I did find two wires marked identical (black with a green stripe) with the damage there was no way to tell which wires matched up. I have tried both combinations of hardwiring those wires but get the same results.
Any suggestions to trouble shoot this issue. I am not very experienced with chasing electrical issue like this so please go easy on this rookie.
