Thats for the dual clutch set up.....
Everything except the TO bearing and flywheel.
It consists of 2 clutch plates(drive and PTO), a secondary Flywheel, 2 spring disks and the pressure plate.

Lot's of stuff. It's a healthy chunk of apparatus.
I agree it does sound bad, but it ain't too bad.
They are good clutches too.

That price is for the 2 stage clutch. My single stage clutch is half that.

Plus the labor to split the tractor....

There is no labor charge if you install the clutch yourself.
My JD 850 is 29 years old, never needed a clutch yet.

I suspect that if your HST goes south you'd be out a lot more than us gear heads, but I could be wrong. Did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
