Kioti Clutch grabs

Hello,

I have a Kioti NX5010 with about 590 hours. I am not the original owner but it has been well cared for with maintenance records. I have only put a few hours on it so far and the clutch seems to be smooth with no problems and looks to be in proper adjustment. However when letting out the clutch in mid range and while in the third and fourth gears the tractor shakes badly. I haven't driven it in high range much but did try it and the clutch lets out smoothly without the grabbing. I haven't noticed it in the field, only when driving a short distance on the road.

So it seems to be a problem only with the higher gears in mid range.

The tractor is still new to me and I don't know if there is a problem or if it could be an adjustment is needed.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you by chance have it in 4WD when this happens? If it was clutch related, I would think you would notice it on pavement and in the field.

If it is in 4WD, then it would explain the difference on pavement. Make sure it is out of 4WD any time you need to be on pavement.
