Compared to a Ford 3000, the Kioti will be a dream at least during the warranty honeymoon years. CK2610 has plenty of Youtube videos showing 5' bush hogs but no idea of how many years of service an HST model will give. I just drove and shopped Kioti hard in Georgia and they sell as soon as they arrive (if they arrive). So for a similar reasonably equipped CK2610 vs. CK3510, the price difference narrows... as dealers aren't stupid... The MSRPs of just tractors start with roughly $4K difference between the 26hp and 35hp similar trim models... BUT you likely will find the 26 priced closer to maybe $1500 or less difference since they are popular. Especially fully loaded up with options. The dealer covers by saying it's due to shop installation charges, but for a crate tractor they have to assemble anyway, it's not entirely true.
The FEL on Kioti CK large frame machines is a beast (superior) vs. similar priced 26hp models from domestic and global brand names (all sorts of various countries of manufacture under the domestics bed covers of course).
If you want longevity, getting a gear drive (shuttle) CK2610 gives you more mechanical simplicity and a bit more HP for the PTO as well... but there's that clutch thing again.
Most folks will opt for the lighter duty (1.5" diameter max) and the HST and hope the 6 year warranty outlasts their use of the machine. But nothing will outlast that Ford. Truly a story of a business that over-built it's product to the point that they went out of business. Kioti makes a good product by today's standards, but not Ford's utility sized / real Ag grade old standards IMHO.
