Ford 3000
Hey, I want to get a new tractor with 4x4 and a FEL. I currently have a gas ford 3000 that I use to brush hog my field. I was looking to buy a new Kioti CK2610 HST with FEL. I would be using it to brush hog(5ft) 2-3 acres, snow removal, possibly adding rear snow blower, and occasionally moving dirt/top soil around. Do you think the 2610 would be big enough? I can稚 afford a new ck3510, but could get a used one or something similar.

I have 4 acres of challenging terrain and lots of snow in the mountains of NH and my CK2610HST does an amazing job. Never needed more.
I'm plowing with a 7' articulating rear blade. Didn't want the expense nor hassle of snow blower or sub-frame.

The CK2610 is a tough and very reliable machine. I think it could handle a light duty 60" cutter on flat terrain and moderate brush. However, i do recommend using a 48" rotary cutter over the 60" cutter. No problem moving dirt and material around, as it has a strong FEL. Also Kioti sells a front mounted snowblower for that specific tractor.

CK2610H sounds about right for your needs. Mine pairs well with the 5-ft Bush Hog BH5 model. BTW, same motor in the 3510 vs. the 2610, just "tuned down" a bit to get under the 25 HP tier (and there's a way to get around that BUT you void your warranty and maybe bend a law or 2 - I havent tried it (yet))

same motor as the older CK35, not the 3510

Compared to a Ford 3000, the Kioti will be a dream at least during the warranty honeymoon years. CK2610 has plenty of Youtube videos showing 5' bush hogs but no idea of how many years of service an HST model will give. I just drove and shopped Kioti hard in Georgia and they sell as soon as they arrive (if they arrive). So for a similar reasonably equipped CK2610 vs. CK3510, the price difference narrows... as dealers aren't stupid... The MSRPs of just tractors start with roughly $4K difference between the 26hp and 35hp similar trim models... BUT you likely will find the 26 priced closer to maybe $1500 or less difference since they are popular. Especially fully loaded up with options. The dealer covers by saying it's due to shop installation charges, but for a crate tractor they have to assemble anyway, it's not entirely true.

The FEL on Kioti CK large frame machines is a beast (superior) vs. similar priced 26hp models from domestic and global brand names (all sorts of various countries of manufacture under the domestics bed covers of course).

If you want longevity, getting a gear drive (shuttle) CK2610 gives you more mechanical simplicity and a bit more HP for the PTO as well... but there's that clutch thing again.

Most folks will opt for the lighter duty (1.5" diameter max) and the HST and hope the 6 year warranty outlasts their use of the machine. But nothing will outlast that Ford. Truly a story of a business that over-built it's product to the point that they went out of business. Kioti makes a good product by today's standards, but not Ford's utility sized / real Ag grade old standards IMHO.
