Kioti CK25 alternator?

Bought a new CK25 last March. Battery goes dead often. Recharge and a month later it's dead again. Changed batteries with the same result. Tightened battery cables. Scraped all paint from frame for ground. I think it's my alternator. Checked battery when running...11.64 volts DC, and 4.79 Amps. Shouldn't the voltage be higher? Thanks for any input.

Should be up in the high 13v range.

Check the plastic connector plug going to the alternator. Mine was not snapped tightly together when new.
