Kioti Battery immediately Drains

1- If you have a battery charger... I would recharge those batteries as soon as you can. If they have lost their charge, which I doubt they have, the longer they stay discharged the poorer the chance of them recovering.

2- The battery posts and the connector clamps must be clean, silver in color not black, where the contact is made. Sometimes the black layer is hard and needs to be scrapped off. The black is lead oxide and does not conduct electricity. When done cleaning and are reconnected, they need to be tight.

4- The connections at the other end of the battery cables, + at the starter and - at the block/frame, need to be clean and tight as well.

5- As others have said... a voltmeter, and knowing how to use it, will greatly increase our ability to help you.

6- If you turn the headlights on... do they come on?

7- If you set the parking brake.. are the brake lights on?

Feel free to send me a private message and I'll gladly share my phone number and we can walk through on the phone.

I am 90% certain you've got a "poor connection" issue and probably not much more.

The link I sent contains all you'll need to troubleshoot if you've got a voltmeter, they can be had for very little money at walmart or your local hardware store, I bet a neighbor has got one they would lend you.

Thanks,
Joel
