Ken, it seems I hear most of the gear drive tillers are from Italy and basically are put together with the same parts from there. Possibly even sharing the same production line. Is that so?

Most gear drive tillers are not from Italy. Most italian tillers are chain driven.

As far as sharing a production line, not any american manufacturer that I know of.
