Kubota BX1500
This is my first 3 point lift attachment project. Bought the King Kutter Carry All and painted it with Allis-Chalmers orange to match my Kubota BX 1500. Painted and bolted some decking planks to the frame with carriage bolts. I would estimate the total cost for materials to be about $120.

I plan to use it for hauling stuff back and forth to my storage building which is way out from the house. My wife thinks it will be nice to haul her tools and supplies around when she is working in the flower beds. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Looks almost like the one I did with some scrap PT lumber I had around. My Carry All looks to be a tad bit larger though, maybe not.

It looks so nice, you did a fine job. I don't know how you're
going to put that first pile of concrete or wood on it. It'll
mess up the paint.

It sort of looks like a chair. Perhaps with some foam pads,
you'd have an adjustable lawn chair (height and tilt). Ahh,
another excuse, I mean reason, for me to buy a CUT. I
think I need an adjustable chair. I'll put it on my list, thanks.

Nice job, Bigun...I have a carry all like that which is waiting for me to do the same thing as you...

Cliff Johns, you may have come up with the incentive for me to get it done this spring! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yeah, it does look kinda like a park bench with hydraulic tilt. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Very nice job. I like the idea of a tilting chair that does other duties. I'll have to make this soon. Thanks for sharing the project. John

Are those decking planks made out of manmade material like Trex? If so, they will probably hold up very well to weather and I believe the color goes all the way through. I'd say it's a much better choice than wood and the color even compliments the orange. Nice job! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Looks good, similar to mine but used 2x12 cause that what was laying around. Now if we just find a couple 6-way power seats /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You really did a great job on that carryall!

I bought a KingKutter from Tractor Supply back in the fall and floored it using treated pine 5/4 decking boards and galvanized bolts. Mine isn't as neat as yours, though.

It's probably a good idea to paint it, since the KK paint doesn't seem to hold up very well in the weather.

I know you'll enjoy that attachment. I think it's one of the most useful around.

Nice job. It looks way better than my KK carry all. It's still got the horrible stock paint and I don't even have any boards on it, I got a pallet that is big enough to throw on the lower arms and use that.

No Jim the planks are the standard 5/4 pressure-treated decking boards painted with some left over opaque stain I used on our porch swing/A-frame project from last summer.
The man made stuff would be nice, kinda pricey though I think.
I was gonna deck it with pressure-treated ¾” plywood, but man a sheet of that wet stuff is heavy and hard to handle and more expensive than these boards. I liked the look of this better anyway and with the gaps between the planks I figure it will be somewhat self-cleaning, allowing dirt to fall through the cracks.
One can of good quality spray paint is just barely enough to get the frame painted. I wiped it down with lacquer thinner to take off the gloss and dirt and leave the surface slightly tacky for good paint adhesion.
Should have sprung for galvanized carriage bolts but I figured the plated ones would last as long as the boards.
