Keulavator VS Garden Bedder

Hi, folks!

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with/strong opinions about the difference(s) between a Keulavator (as sold by AgriSupply) and a garden bedder (like the one sold at everythingattachments.com). From what I can tell, the GB from everythingattachments.com just allows for multiple applications in one pass (i.e. hilling, cultivating, as well as furrowing) whereas the Keulavator is maybe somewhat limited. For one thing, the Keulavator doesn't allow for anything to be mid-mounted (like a furrower or middle buster).

- If you own or have used a Keulavator, can you speak to whether or not it's possible to mount hilling discs on the tool bar simultaneously with cultivators or sweeps for in-path/behind tires?

Among other considerations, the GB from everythingattachments.com is about 3X the cost of the Keulavator. That being said, some implements (c-tines, sweeps, hilling discs) are included with the GB whereas the Keulavator is frame-only.

Other considerations:
- I don't own a middle buster but have used one for furrowing and harvesting potatoes. If I buy a Keulavator, I will eventually have to either a) buy a middle buster as well or b) have a metal worker in town modify the Keulavator frame to accept a furrowing attachment.
- I'm not a welder so I'll spare you the time it will take to tell me how you'd just fabricate one of these 2 implements and save the dough. This isn't an option for me at the moment. Thanks though..

Just curious if anyone has some insights about either of these pieces of equipment.

I pull the tool bar (keulavator) from Agri supply with hilling discs along with tall sweeps/cultivators that cover the tracks...also have a centered point that leaves a furrow down the middle of the raised bed...
...I also have a project plan to convert a manual planter that will add another dimension to an already great attachment...

The keulavator is a very versatile tool bar...

Yes it was a simple mod I made up with an old cultivator point...I'll look for a pic...a neighbor down the road currently has my tool bar...

A friend of mine gave me his soil ripper off his old JD M. I had it converted to 3ph.

The soil ripper is very similar to a Keulavator with some cultivator tines attached to it. Attached is a picture of mine when I had it.

After the soil ripping, I mounted 2 opposed discs on the bar instead of the cultivator tines. This made very nice raised rows. Attached is a picture of it.

Later on, I bought 2 smaller diameter discs and mounted them and some cultivator tines onto the bar. Found a picture of it, too, attached. Never used it.

Because I was using no till, I never used the soil ripper and discs again and gave them to a friend who had a tractor just like mine.

He was going to share it with a couple other guys. Would you believe one of them asked whether I had a operators' manual for it? My friend has a very high IQ but I wonder about his friends.
