Kerosene?????

Hello,
After pumping 5 gallons of kerosene at my local Ice Cream store I realized it is kerosene for home heating and not Diesel. If I use this in my tractor will it kill it? I have no other use for it.

Kero is often mixed with diesel during winter if there is not enough winter additive in it. You should have no issue putting the kero in your tractor. Just try to keep the mix 50/50 or less kero.

Thanks for the info Break, I'll just add a little at a time...and go buy some Diesal.

Kero is lacking lubricity but you can add outboard 2 stroke oil.
I mistakenly put 4 gallons of gasoline in my Dodge Common Rail diesel then added 2 quarts of 2 cycle oil, it never missed a beat.
2 Stroke oil also quiets my 1st & 2nd Gen Cummins & it runs smoother.
