Well, there you go!!!
Learned another today (although I rarely go forward).
Since we're playing with keyboards, I just did.
Alt + right arrow = forward
Alt + left arrow = backward << found myself a new one???

JayC - go back and start reading this thread from the beginning. I was doing what you are. I switched to Dave's method and there's no going back now!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It takes less than 1/2 of the time to read things. Actually, that means you can read twice as much (since you're going to spend the same amount of time out here anyway).

One thing I'll add:
When you're coming in first time of the day.
Go back 24 hours
Do a CNTL+F (yep... find) and do a search for yourself.
That'll get you to the last time you posted then either scroll up to when you stopped the previous day or start from this point and look for threads you're interested in.

Yep, I think I will kick myself. That seems obvious enough.

I think I will try out that 12hr method. I'm all for increased productivity! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Not to split hairs or misinterpret your statement, if we were trying to increase our productivity, shouldn't we go back to work or go outside and get some seat time? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ohh... You're thinking about THAT kind of productivity. I was talking about... oh nevermind. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

JayC,

I knew exactly what you meant. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif But when I read it, I was thinking about going outside to do something. What you meant is exactly why I started this thread.

Since we're talking keyboards... I'm an old mainframe programmer. All the PC terminal emulation packages allow me to configure the keyboard. Can this be done for the PC itself? I'm now doing the ALT + left or right arrow but would much rather it be the CNTL instead of ALT. Can this be changed?

Brian
