Keep or sell grinder?

I have one bench mounted grinder. A half hp Baldor. Purchased in 1983.

It's old but very reliable.

Well, sounds like you have a buffer now, too!

Nice! But you'll thank yourself, if you ever get around to removing the guard from the right side of that machine, where you have the wire wheel mounted. I couldn't imagine using a wire wheel with a guard installed, for what I do with them.

All of my grinders are vintage Craftsman, 1940 - 1970 stuff. I'm not one of those vintage Craftsman nuts, I'm into bigger/older machinery, I just landed into these thru circumstance.

At this point, seems I'll get appropriate holes drilled for mounting it and sell it here. The father-in-law had two 3/16 cap screwing holding the grinder on. One with nut but loose.

Put it on the local FB marketplace the the 1st guy to look at it took it for 175.

If that pedestal grinder is a "monster" what do you call a 25HP grinder with 30" grinding wheels?

All relative. Guys who were upgrading from 8" contractor table saws to 10" cabinet saws used to lose their mind when they'd see my dual-arbor table saw. It carried blades up to 22" diameter, and had the horsepower to pull them thru 8" thick oak.
