I'm so glad you posted this link. I heard this today on my way home from work and I just smiled. I was so happy to hear some positive stories being told on the news. This is a story about a good guy who didn't have to be, he just did what was right (and had the tractor and PTO generator) to save some lives.

I listened to it too....The two things I kept wondering as I sat there were: "I wonder if he's a TBN member, so we can get more details", and, "I hope someone was donating the fuel along with the medical suppies..."

I wonder if it was a gear or HST tractor with synthetic or dino oil that was red, green, orange, red or blue with ag or R4 tires? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I discovered, kind of by accident, that there is a non-governmental orginization headquartered in my area which is still working to help people rebuild in several locations in Florida and North Carolina. They just opened a location in Mobile. It makes me proud to be an American when there are still people like this giving their time long after the news has moved on. I won't get into specifics so I don't cross the line of politics or religion but this is one of many untold good news stories. Cheer up we aren't all bums.

I can just see the scene. The tractor running in the back-yard, with scores of people in this country boys house.... "IV bags hanging from the chandelier" and "people laying all over the recliners", all benefiting from a little air conditioning, electricity, and water. Random acts of kindness are the best...
