I am looking at getting a "no-till" planter for my food plots. I have the chance to get a "like new" Kasco Plotters Choice for about 1/3 the cost of a new one. Only concern is the planter is a 5ft model and my tractor is just under 6ft wide from the outside of the rear tires. Any planting concerns I should be aware of other than possibly running over a seeded area and pushing the seed deeper than intended? This is my first experience with a planter like this one, we have always planted our plots with a broadcast spreader in the past. Ideally I would like a 6ft model, but I think I'll be fine with a 5ft model and an extra $5,000 under the mattress. Any other insight from people who own or have used a Kasco would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! :drink:
