Kabota L2500 + Woods BH7500

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the site. I recently purchased an Kabota L2500 and it has a Woods BH7500 Backhoe that attaches to the 3 point hitch.

Can anyone walk me through the steps of attaching and de-attaching the backhoe? I was looking for a video of this process on the web, but did not see one. I would appreciate any help offered. Thanks

Where did it move from? I'd wager a question about a 3pt how would belong in attachments more than in the Kubota section. If it was subframe mounted it would be Kubota specific. But if its 3pt mounted it will be a more generic process across all tractor types.

doesn't look too dissimilar to the one I wourk with.
keep the hydraulics attached till last.

use the feet/bucket to make a tripod, then tweak as needed to take the weight off the pins, and unhook them. move the tractor a bit to get more rom.
I usually stick a big log uneith it to take some of the load off the hydraulics, then unhook the hoses.

As Groo explained. I also have a Woods BH750 3Pt mount backhoe. Sometimes it can be a "bear" to hook up. Other times things go better. Dismount goes a bit easier.

Although the Woods BH750, which I bought about 25 years ago, functioned ok, I certainly won't miss it when my new Kubota and frame mounted backhoe is delivered later this week.
