Anyone know how to time a k3b mitsubishi engine? Is it shimmed and where could I get the right shims? This is in a Massey Ferguson 1120 tractor. When I bought this tractor I was told it needed an injection pump. It barely ran pouring black smoke when it was loaded in my truck. Since, I have not been able to get it to run.Supposedly the engine had been gone through, but it all seems suspect to me. Where can I get parts reasonably priced? I may need a rebuilt injection pump, injectors and probably glo-plugs, maybe a gasket set. Thanks for any help.

You are not likely to find Mitsu parts reasonably priced. You may well not find them at all in the aftermarket. Case sold some as CaseIH compacts before the NH buyout. Maybe something there will cross over. But they never gave parts away, either.
