Is this a scam? Just purchased Mahindra 1538

I hope you like yours as much as I like mine. My dealer talked me out of the 3rd function saying Mahindra's price was a bit steep for what it is. I got a second remote but that is about all he'd let me buy over the other stuff. He talked me out of the mid PTO too saying I'd likely never use it. I like dealers who sell you what you actually need not what you think you need.

I'd agree with your dealer and the third function Mahindra uses. It is just a diverter and not a true third function. The one installed on this is not made by Mahindra.

Note the pallet forks in the video on the attachments. I looked at the Titan ones others recommend and they look similar. (This comment is in relation to your post about pallet forks)

I debated on the mid PTO as well. I'd researched snow blowers but determined they are not very effective in my area- storms aren't typically big enough to be effective. I also don't mow. So while I would feel better having it just in case I think the $900 was better spent on attachments.

With my property I am thinking a seat with armrests would help. Have you seen anything that will fit the 1538?

So far I haven't seen any seats like that and haven't really looked. I find the seat on mine pretty comfortable as it is. One of the nice touches for the 1500 series. I think armrests also might complicate the twist around seat I have on mine as part of the backhoe option.
I have torn it by leaving tools in my back pocket so be careful of that, it does tear easily. Some shoe Goop took care of the small tear for me so I haven't had to resort to duct tape. I'd really like to find a good seat cover for it but I think I'd have to take the seat to an auto upholstery shop and get something custom made since the tractor seat market is so small.
