BX2350
Yesterday after several weeks of research and reading this forum, I purchased a new BX2350 with 60"mmm and R4 tires. Total cost $9,995 plus tax. This is the first hydrostat I have owned or driven. As many posts have stated, takes some getting used to. The main problem was when backing up, especially down hill. A little touchy. I was amazed at the speed I could mow and the turning circle was a lot better than my old wheel horse. I did check all fluids and even added a few pumps of grease to the mower before I used it for the first time. After 1 hour mowing, all fluids were still full except the front axle. I will need to get some Super UDT tomorrow. Thanks for all the good information on this forum. Does anybody know what oil to use in this engine? Dealer said use 15W-40. The manual does not have this listed.

Can't go wrong with Rotella or Delo..15/40 I wouldn't recommend going to a synthetic oil until she's broke in though...

I'm envious.. Just sold my John Deere, and my Simplicity was picked up last night.. No mowers left, now going to sell my practically new 350 Wolverine and I'll have enough cash for half a new BX2350... Where did you purchase your unit?

Congrats, and good luck.....

Before I got my BX 2200 I had a Wheel Horse 520H. I thought it was the cat's meow until I got the Kubota. Cut my mowing time down by about a third and fuel consumption at least in half. You won't be sorry you got the BX!:D

I purchased it at Lashley Tractor in Zanesville, Ohio. They also have locations in Quaker City and St. Clairsville, Oh.
