Price Check Just ordered new Kubota BX25D

Hi, new here to forum and to tractors in general.

Just ordered a new Kubota BX25D. Excited to be joining the tractor world. I bought about 7 acres of property 2 yrs ago (mostly wooded). Looking to do some light ground maintenance and cleaning. Also will use to plow my nearly 300 yd driveway.

Local dealer offers both Kubota and Deere, but after testing both, Kubota just felt better to me personally. After some back and forth, I agreed to $19,245. That includes FEL, Backhoe, thumb, 3 pt hitch, and BX2763A 60' plow w/ skids.

Delivery is probably 1 week away. Can't wait to start playing in the yard.....

Welcome and congrat's from a fellow Connecticutite! Nice setup to start with. Was your dealer Midstate Tractor by chance? One of the few I know that sells both Kubota and Deere.

Thanks all for comments. Super excited to get started. It's been about 6 hrs since I ordered and I already have a laundry list of add ons and attachments I want. I can see this turning from a nice to have into a way of life....

I'll have pics up as soon as it is delivered. Even if it's a basic set up.

Well, first you go to BXpanded and buy everything they have that fits the BX25D, Piranha bar, quick on bucket hooks, maybe the bucket expander.

Then head over to Everything Attachments for a grapple.

Let's see, maybe a ratchet rake... chains and straps... sigh, it just goes on and on

(oh, and a skid plate to protect the HST fan blades)

ditto on the BX hooks and PTB... both must haves in my book. The Bro Tek rear and mid skid plates too to protect your HST fan and system lines. If you get rear implements then you are going to want to either build or buy a dolly for the the BH. BX makes a nice one but you can build own much cheaper if you are handy.
