Just Ordered BX 2" Hitch from Jari USA

Just talked to the folks at Jari USA and ordered the BX Hitch... thanks to JEFF H for posting the link in another thread.

Looks stout and should enable me to tow a small yard trailer and not get in the way of the Hoe...

I'm already thinking of adapting the receiver to fit a small winch with quick power disconects..

Hey, I just sent you an e-mail before I ordered asking if you had a spare you are willing to part with?

Foolish me... I had all my machinist tools at the shop where I had worked 20 years ago... the owner was great and would let me come in to work on my own projects as long as I paid for material and supplies... A fully equipped Tool and Die Shop at my disposal till the entire place burned to the ground... molten aluminum puddles everywhere from the lathe and Bridgeport Castings... the huge Gantry Crane I-Beams looked like spaghetti... the concrete walls and window placements acted like one giant blast furnace... very sad... it was a total loss.

I love the one from ACHINBAC. Would love to see that one in person and maybe fab one up myself. Much easier to move the hoe around to line it up rather than muscle the trailer.

I dunno... Maybe a year and a half??? Lots of mentions on TBN. There are a few reviews on the BXpanded website.

KEYMAN - you live practically in my backyard - pm me & you can look at it as long as you like - will cost you a rack though . . . . . lot of cool things have been fabbed in the monster garage, like this rig we used to 'poon tuna with out on Stellwagen back in 05' . . . .

I bought a step bumper hitch from HF for $15 5000 Lb. Capacity Step Bumper Receiver and cut off the sides so that it would fit the BX. Mounted upside down, it looks nearly identical to the $99 one. A great addition to the BX but it would be improved with the addition of a hitch extender to place the ball further rearwards.

It would seem the ball would need to clear the backhoe to be useful... won't know till I give it a try with the box trailer in the yard...
