I'm getting 2 hooks with spacers for my L3400 loader. I'll post pics once they are installed. Ken is very good to deal with and appears to have a quality product.

I just installed a couple of 10,000lb tow hooks on my LA723 bucket. With discounts, they were about $5 ea. at Harbor Freight. 8.9 bolts.
Always wanted some, but never had a decent bucket until now.

Personally, for critical components, which if they fail can cause an accident, I would not have confidence in Harbor Freight "house brand" stuff which is almost all sourced off-shore.

Bucket grab hooks, which allow instant adjustment of chain length, are time savers.

Where does your tractor come from?

How much weight do you think you can put on a 10,000 lb rated hook with a 5,000 lb tractor?

Didn't mean to start a competitive thing, I just wanted to encourage folks to add those hooks if they think they can use them, since they are so cheap it doesn't matter. I think the bucket's frame, or the bolts would be the weak link. I certainly don't plan on hoisting or pulling anything that heavy, and my chain would worry me, too, so I am fine with Harbor Freight- for this application.

If the 10,000 rated hook came from HF, I'd limit the load to about 200 lbs. And no, I won't be buying a tractor from HF either. I've had brand new ratchets, wrenches, break-over bars, pliers - you name it, from HF that either DID or almost caused me serious injury. My buying from HF is limited to bungee cords and wire ties and other consummables. I hope your experience with HF tools is, or will be, better than mine has been.

I really like the design that Ken came up with to compensate for the rolled top of the bucket. Plus, even though I am a fan of HF, I like supporting a small business whenever I can.

I ordered some from Ken last fall for my B2320. Very well made quality product.

I have Ken's first prototype hooks on my B2320 and a pair of the clevis mounts on the inside of the bucket. It's a great design especially if you can't weld and they are very high quality. I highly recommend them as they are very useful.

So your bucket is sandwiched between hooks on top and clevis mounts inside, using the same bolts? I like the sound of that.

Yes, that's exactly it! It really helps make the hooks more rigid. I believe Ken makes backing plates for inside the bucket if you don't want the clevis mounts but having them makes the system much more versatile.

I was not aware a Ken was manufacturing/selling these products (hooks, etc). Which Ken is it ? Also is there a website ? Thanks ............... !

Just sent an email to order 2 sets of the hooks and clevis mounts for inside the bucket of my BX 25D. I need to move some stuff around and these look great.
It's great that these small companies realize there's a niche product for those of us who don't weld and also to manufacture "special" products like the "Kubota lip" spacer hooks.

Anyone have them on a BX25D yet?

Pictures please if you do!

Another very well pleased customer of Ken's. I'd buy from him again!

I also recommend Ken's hooks. Awhile back I ordered a couple clevis eyes from him. They are nicely finished...... and I don't know how he does it, but I swear they showed up at my door a full 24 hours before I even ordered them.

As a side note....... does anyone know if that is actually Ken in the hydraulic guage video on his site ? Somehow I was expecting him to look older, and well....... uglier?? Didn't know if maybe Ken hires a model to star in his videos like 4shorts does..........

Thanks Ductape, and thanks to everybody else for their kind words as well. I am not a paying advertiser (yet...deal in the works) so I have to be cautious with my replies.

Yup, that's me...no supermodels are in the budget just yet

Nice work. I am interested in buying some for my Kubota B7500 but I didn't see them on your web site.

Zenosan, try emailing him directly. I'm not sure how much Ken feels comfortable with promoting/answering questions about his products on the forum at the moment:

That being said I have a set of his hooks and spacers as well as shackle mounts and can attest to the quality! I would swear the primer he put on my stuff is tougher than the paint on my bucket. If he doesn't have a spacer sized to work with the lip on the bucket of your B7500 he may be able to fabricate something. He does put out very nice stuff and is great to work with.
