Just Looking at New Tractors

I would like to upgrade my tractor someday. We have Kubota, John Deere, Mahindra, LS and Case dealers near by. I would probably get something around 30hp with loader and backhoe, I prefer shuttle shift to hydro in a bigger tractor like that. I like the prices of the LS and they had some nice standard features but the dealer isn't very big and is more into motorcycles. The Mahindra dealer is much bigger but new to Mahindra, they seem like good tractors but I don't know anything about them either. Deere, Kubota are great tractors, I run them at work, but seemed like a lot more $$$! How do the LS tractors compare with the Mahindras? Thanks, Ash

I would get the deere or kubota, they are both great tractors and there products have been around longer and aren't going anywhere soon, you will pay more but also you have parts in the future, also, make sure you have a good dealer that will not leave you stranded with a problem.

A well established/stable dealer is a real plus for parts and service. I'm blessed and have most of the big tractor companies within a hour or less driving time of me. I have looked at Mah, MF, Bobcat, Kubota, and LS. I am most likely going to go with the LS because of the comparative cost. While they (LS) have not been around as long as say Kubota or JD or MF, they really do make a nice product. I tested MF Mah and LS and kicked the tires on Bobcat(Kioti) and JD. Plus, LS and Mah have 5 year warranties. In any case which ever way you go you will get a good tractor. B
