Hello to all,
Just joined but have been lurking about a month. Got some good points while on this site. Was trading tractors and window shopping before making up my mind. Happy to say I made a trade that I think will be all good. New to me Kubota B2650 Cab. Already loving the AC here in Texas panhandle.
Thanks All

To TBN KC from Alabama. Congrats on the new Orange. I won't hold it against you but I met and married my wife in Amarillo after dating her 5 time in 3 weeks.

First I want to thank all for the welcome to TBN. Its funny mddorange that you were in Amarillo then. I worked at VW and let me tell you I can't count all the bugs we painted back then for the airmen at the base. Base closed and most all the VW bugs left. Glad you found a good Amarillo girl.

Actually she was from east Alabama but her dad was stationed there then; March, 1967. She was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell and I was making a call to my girlfriend in Boston to change our plans for meeting when I got to Bermuda in April. Since my girlfriend was the personal secretary for a VP at At&T, she had a number she used for calls so that there was no charge, thus I had to go through an operator with that number. She had a real Southern accent, not the Texas drawl, so I asked her what she was doing in Texas. She said her dad was station at the base but would not even give me her name. It took a little detective work but I found her. And the rest, as they say, is history.
