Hello, I just signed on to this forum- great info, has helped me chose my John Deere 2210 a year ago. Has a FEL, rotary mower and a tiller. Now I've got plenty of questions and a lot to learn! Thinking about a box scraper and maybe someday a backhoe. Also wondering about difference between disks and plows. Have a 9 acre farm that was chickens-make that fighting cocks, no interest in going there. Mel

Welcome to TBN :thumbsup: I hear fighting chicken farms can drive off large poultry operations so they are not all bad

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, those fighting cocks must've drove away all the big chicken places. Neighbor to the east has Oregon's largest Christmas tree farms. Most of the Willamette Valley is the biggest lawn in the world, known as the 'grass seed capital of the world.' I noticed in your profile you have plow disk. So does a plow turn over the soil while disking breaks up the surface?
