Just how do you BUY AMERICAN?

I never have one company do ALL the items in my invention. I have several companies do various parts. I do final assembly or boxing here.

Some Chines do rip people off, but mostly it's hard for the Chinese to market and distribute so they stick to what they know and that's manufacturing and even try and protect their customers. A few times I have seen a product that I want to purchase on a Chinese site and they write back and say sorry not for North American sales, or Sorry World patents we will not sell etc.

yea the Chinese care about my dogs and my kids. they care about all the company's that they produce illegal knockoffs of. Were would we be without
the compassionate caring Chinese. Yea and lets not forget all the money they lend our government so we can keep buying there great products.

So either I and you purchase NOTHING at all or we purchase things made overseas.

Most of my clothes are made in America. It's not that hard, if you care about American workers its not hard at all.

I do not purchase hershey's chocolate very often. When I want chocolate I buy from Whole Foods or the local natural foods store. Most of the chocolate is imported, but from fair trade markets, and I prefer organic ingredients.

Buying American is not that hard. Is it as easy as walking into Wal-Mart and buying right then and there? No. You'll probably need to have your goods shipped (ah-ha, that's another American job you'd be supporting). Everybody wants their stuff right now, and for the cheapest price. That is partly why so many of our factories are in China and Thailand now.

I can't buy everything American made.. I'm not kidding myself.. but I do shop and if there is a domestic product I'll buy it. Even if I pay a few dollars more. It's worth it to me.

I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the only thing I own that is 100% "Made in the U.S.A" is my 2 sons.....other than that there is no telling!! :)

I'D like to thank the us government for looking out for my best interest as they feel I'm safest being unemployed.
I'd like to particularly give thanks to OSHA the EPA and most importantly the unfree trade agreements. Well i guess they work for me i get to trade my good paying factory job for a safer lower paying retail job selling the fine imported wares from the likes of china. What suckers are the Chinese to take all our unsafe factory jobs. Sure i like cheap goods just like the other guy but not at the cost of starving my family.

I don't know why it can't be " a dollar out a dollar in" . In other words if China sells $1.00 worth or goods here then they MUST buy $1.00 worth of our goods. Same with all the countries.

Currently our Government allows boat loads of cars to come into our Country yet the same Country won't allow our cars in ot tax our cars so they will not be purchased over there.

Ya our Government is making it so that we will be the poorest people on the Planet with the cleanest air, and safest jobs that no one will go to.

Queen, you say its not that hard to buy american, seems to me it would be a full time job!,and than you wouldn't have half the stuff in your house you got now[probably 1/3],if you just had to replace it with 100 percent american made....no car or truck...no tractor..probably no tv/vcr/satelite...phone!,,and probably every thing else unless you made it or growed it,even than if you made it out of brick/metal it might not be 100 percent american, cement, glass, etc, etc

There's the biggest problem to me. Our super-size wastefull governments just taking our tax revenues and throwing them into an abyss.

Funny watching our gov't getting ready to prosecute Bernie Madoff for running a 50 million dollar "ponzi scheme" when our whole stinkin gov't has been running a multi-trillion dollar "ponzi scheme" for the last 50 years.

There you go...
Couldn't say that any better.

You can buy a Peterbilt truck built in Denton, Tx. But even that probably has some foreign parts.

Justin and Nocona boots?
Hydro-mulchers made in Bowie, TX?
Michelin tires made in Oklahoma?
Graphite from Poco Graphite in Decatur, Tx?
Cessnas, Learjets, Beechcraft made in Wichita, KS?
Bell, Aerospatial, Sikorsky, and Boeing helicopters?
EZ-Go golf carts?

Okay, I could go on and on, but the boots are probably the only real consumer item on my list.:)

EDIT: Oh yes. . . Troy Aikman would like for me to mention Acme Brick from Denton and Ferris, Texas.
