Use a Mr. Funnel, it will also filter out any water.

Does anyone know if there are any substantive differences between Mr. Funnel and the Racor Fuel Filter Funnel? I have not seen either one in the flesh, but from the pictures and descriptions on the web, the two units look and sound very similar, although I'm not sure that Mr. Funnel has the stainless-steel, Teflon®-coated filter element that the Racor Filter Funnels have. The Mr. Funnel web site seems to suggest a filter element made solely of Teflon® (if that is structurally possible). The Racor units are reportedly electrically conductive, while the Mr. Filter units appear to come in conductive and non-conductive varieties.
