It would seem in many cases on many brands, nobody wants to pay $70 for a hydro-filter. Doesn't matter what it ought to be. :)

From all I've read the hydro-filters of some machines have some extremely fine filtering capabilities. To filter as fine as they do and flow the amount they do under the pressures they run, it's kinda impressive really...

I Agree on Hydraulic filters. not worth taking a chance. As I run about 9-10 gallons of synthetic hydraulic oil in my L39 and have maybe 1500 hours on that oil, I don't skimp on the filters. 35 gallons in my excavator and I don't skimp there either. The Kubota filter is built better, has a unique part number, even though it is dimensionally the same as other Kubota filters, and has a really strong magnet built into the base. L39 runs tandem filters , about $40 ea. I'm due for a filter change.

So can anyone post a complete X-ref list of filters for the MAX28?
