Just bought my first mower that doesn't get pushed.

Well I am excited and nervous. I won a Kubota z726xkw at auction today. Iron Planet, so sight unseen, but their checklist made it sound like everything was okay. It is a 60" with Kawasaki engine. Located about two hours away, so I will go get it next week. 2015 model with 700 something hours. My bid was $3200, taxes and fees will add another $600 or so. I will be cutting about four acres. Supposedly this is a bombproof commercial mower. I actually need to do some mowing in the back meadow now, so I will be able to test it before spring.

Wow. Congrats. That is a 10 grand machine new. 700 hours is nothing. Let us know how it turns out.

I remember that day for me well. It was a Ford 917 Flail Mower. No more pushing the lawnboy.

Congratulations on the new mower.
Properly maintained that mower and engine can last decades....my Gravely with Kawaski engine(33hp) has 2100 hours now and still running strong. Just did my winter maintenance on the Kawasaki V-twin engine yesterday. What a wonderful engine to work on.
