Pulled the trigger on a 2010 4025 with 50 hours. Bought from a local JD dealer for $7750 otd. Adding a FEL as we speak. I am thinking I did pretty good on the price, any opinions?

p95loser,

Congrats

Yep, you saved enough to pay a good portion of the FEL. How many remotes does it have? Have the dealer do the 50 hr. service on it while they have it and check for any odd leaks. Post some pics when you get it delivered.

I don't believe it has any remotes. Don't forsee myself needing remotes at this time so it wasn't a big deal. I did ask the dealer about the 50 hour service and got a vague response as to what all needed to be done. As far as I can tell it looks like all that needs to be done is check engine oil level and coolant level, retorque wheel nuts, and change hydraulic fluid and filter and clean screen. I can tackle all that myself i'm pretty sure.

Oh and I went with a Koyker loader under the dealer's recommendation. Got it installed for $3800.

Sounds like a good deal. Fifty hours is nothing, the first oil change is not due till 100 hours. As far as the rest of the fifty hour check, it is not hard to do the items you listed yourself. The transmission screen change is a little tough but nothing you probably can't handle. Enjoy and post some pics.
