TC35
I traded my TC35 gear for a TC55 with EHSS. Got it from an NH dealer for my trade plus some cash.

It has about 1000hrs and mine has about 1350hrs. I bought the TC35 used from the same dealer about 3 years ago.

Any issues I should look out for? Upgrades? Mods?

Also, I was thinking of betting an 8ft 3pt backhoe for it . I know a subframe is best but for cost reasons I'd like to go the 3pt route. Since I'm only looking at an 8footer I figure the 55 can handle that no problem.
What do you think?

I won't get it home until next week so I can't play with it just yet.

I wouldn't put a backhoe without a subframe on that tractor. I have the smallest hoe, that one can put on a TC55DA and I still manage to losen nuts and bolts every so many hrs. I never had much go wrong on mine.
The biggest event was the funny looking rubber hydraulic return hose near the filter on the bottom on the maschine. For some reason the rubber swoll up and had a tacky feeling to it. So if you have that, exchange the hose. You could end up not be able to move the tractor anymore, since the EHSS model uses the hydraulic fluid to shift it in and out of gear. Plus you loose about 20 to 30L hydraulic fluid. Mine is a 2004 model and still has the original battery in it!

What bolts are coming loose?

What type/size hoe? Subframe?

I will try to remember to post some pics. Might be too busy playing :)

I also bought a box blade to go with it. I'm also thinking of the 3rd function kit for a grapple.

The backhoe is a NH 757C, also a small one. Towards the front of the engine, where the subframe would connect to a bracket with pins. The bracket is held by three big bolts to the frame on either side. Those come loose and that with a small hoe. Now since there is that much force on the subframe, I don't really want to know what you do with a bigger hoe on the 3PT hitch. The TC55 is strong, but not that heavily built.

Congratulations! That TC55DA w/EHSS is a sweet machine. I can't help but agree with DieselMonk, you need a sub-frame. The peace of mind would be worth every nickel to me. I hope you love your new tractor.:)

I love the TC35. If that's any indication I should really love the 55.

Hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week.
