I just picked up a MF12G garden tractor at a flea market with a bunch of the implements..(plow, cultivator, front blade, but no mower deck). $300. I don't even know what it's worth. I had been looking for a set of turf tires for my other tractor for pulling my lawn roller around. I figured that this would be cheaper than the turf tires and rims, and this way I don't have to switch them around.
It runs in all gears at all speeds, but it's in serious need of some TLC. Left front "axle" is bent about 20 degrees, seat is all torn up. Pin from the implement lift is broken, and the starter switch or solenoid is bad (I had to jump the solenoid to start it). The paint is dull but all the sheet metal is in fair condition.
The only real issue is the axle. I can deal with everthing else. Any ideas on how to fix it? Are parts pretty readily available for these still?
Also, any ideas on where to get a mower deck?
