If you're going to load tires, start with the rears. As far as foam, you'd probably be better off with tubes in the front to keep constant pressure. In the meantime just check pressures in all tires while doing daily walk around. unless you live in a mine field of nails and sharp objects you should be fine. YMMV.

Foam is ireversable & rough. Never get a flat, but you loose the pnumatic shock absorbtion. Id consider it if i had a lot of punctures, but i dont so not worth the tradeoffs.

I had a 1981 L275DT with an Allied 195 loader. It was a great tractor that I traded in for my DK35 in 2011. The loader should be easily detachable. Lower the bucket with it flat on the ground and put down the two support legs. Loose the large bolts by the base of the loader and swivel them up to clear the bracket. Then gently curl the bucket so the arms lift out of the mounting bracket enough so you can drive back a bit and undo the hose couplings.

I've attached a couple of photos of old L275DT. It was a great tractor. My Kioti dealer lives near the person who bought it. He often sees it working and it is still going strong.

Adding another note about the loader....Mine did not have a separate pump. It used the same hydraulics as the 3 point lift and was nicely plumbed in with fittings on the topside of the transmission tunnel under the seat.

As mentioned, the L305 has a 2 stage clutch. There is a lever down where the clutch lever "bottoms out" when pushed down. You flip that lever up to be able to push the clutch lever further down to get to the second stage for PTO use.

Lube up the 3pt. 99% of 3pts are power up, gravity down. If things are a bit sticky & there is little weight (3pt linkages themselves) not going down with gravity isn't to surprising. If it works with weight on it a little maintenance should get it working properly unloaded as well.

Agree for sure. Essentially all 3pt hitches are powered in lift only. I've never seen a modern one that powered the 3pt downward. There are a few tractors over the years that had double acting hydraulics that would force downward as well as lift but many of those (the Massey Harris Pacer my family has for example) lacked a 3pt hitch and had awkward connections for attachments.
