Just bought a bush hog, what to look for??

In the interim, I've purchased a Ford 515, 7ft bar sickle mower, for $150, and have mowed my roadbanks with it!!!!! Sorry to the OP.

Have a concept on this that was going on where I live. Person went and found buyers for used equipment at really good prices...then they were delivered as soon as he could steal what he had for sell. If this is legit it would shock me...but a word of thought. A person wants to sell a "TOO SMALL BUSH HOG". The caution that hits me is if REALLY too small for him is it because it will not cut what he is been using it for? light weight cutter on say 4 inch trees? If so even if true owner and so forth how good of deal is it? I would not buy a too small rough cut mower with out hearing it run.

To the OP, if you are still looking at this really suggest you find out on the person you are dealing with and on his dad their criminal record. Might say call the law enforcement in that area and ask if they are having theft of farm implements..

There you go. I felt this was a scam of some kind, but you have provided a plausible angle. I too will be very surprised if the OP ever see's the implement. And if he does, will it be "hot"? Good questions.
