As I stated before I am toying with milling. Would love a good used 660. I am in Ohio also but only know of marketplace or ebay to search for used saws. Where else could I be looking?
Those plus my chainsaw repair group.

We have a trusted sellers buyers there from folks we know even. Throughout US and overseas.
We can vouch for them there and some of us even ship or get shipped to anymore as we know were trusted before paid or paying.

I shipped these to a guys who collects recently. Where I do all my selling and trading. If not local.

I
Copying info from old thread there 2023 is last one I got.

Owner = All BLACK parts are now FORGED, instead of CAST (think "STAMPED" instead of "POURED"). Bottom line: NEW tool is STRONGER!

V3 will be 100%-forged (think, “stamped”, like what a blacksmith does, instead of “poured”… (V1/V2 were “poured”, or cast-molded). Bottom line: V3 will be stronger, more resilient. The design is slightly changed to a “chunkier” tool which will be stronger and give a better feel in your hand.

All silver was gen1 that wasnt hardened parts etc and sometimes if to much pressure came apart.

I have the latest version. You won't regret it for $25. I wrap orange tape on the handle so I can see it in the woods.

Other then a good used 660, what other saw would you recommend for me to do some milling with? Not totally agains't the Chinese saws but would prefer a good used stihl, husky, echo, etc. I wouldn't ever run anything over a 36" bar. I welded up mill on a 20" bar for my 562 just for a few small projects but don't really want to use that saw for that.

Most folks go 660 395 880 3120 depending how much and how big.

Min the 660 IMHO.

Some folks use smaller but their saws are pretty wore out when I see them from such.

Anyone tried the way stihl 211 181 171 has listed for the fix on the oil line?

Leak on these by cutting the line and adding the 1124 122 3900 nipple so dont pull at angle to leak.

Are the 660 and 395 going to be more reasonably priced that the other 2?

I'm thinking of selling my Stihl 090. The best milling saw ever...
