I found it on a winter road we cut wood on in 2017. I’m not sure if it was from that, or something a hunter or fisherman dropped.

It's an insulin pen. My dad uses a similar style one.

Rotating the knob in the back, adjusts the dose needed following the numbers. The Click on the green button to inject.

By pulling the cap off on the other end will expose the needle.

While it's not harmful to touch it if you know who used it, it's better you dispose that by using gloves.

Thank you. I wondered if it was something like that. What doesn’t show well is the rotary counter. It’s a mile from here and probably will stay there, at least for a while.
