My service manager came into my office today and told me about the complaint he got. I have heard many excuses and many complaints but this one takes all. The owner wasn't home when we went out to fix this guys furnace but evidently the owner is upset because my guy stole about 15% out of the LP tank. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

So after about ten minutes of LMAO I asked my service man how he did it. So we just all laughed some more.

Yes, it sure is amazing what some people come up with. If you would have explained to him how imposssible that would be, they still would not believe you.

I don't get it. Why would this be "impossible"?

Yeah, I don't think it would be impossible, though improbable, unlikely, etc. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I asked my guy jokingly how he did this and he said he was doing ok until the bottom of the plastic 5 gal buckets froze and fell out. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I wonder if this one will get to court??

Oh yes, to clarify this. The tank was a 1,000 gal tank which at 80% holds 800 or so gals. Depending on how accurate the gauge is. So if he stole 10 to 15% that would be somewhere around 100 to 150 gals or should we just say 125?? He would of had to transfer that into a pretty good size tank in an already overloaded van.

I guess the owner never heard of tapping the tank to make sure the sticky gauge reads the current level, instead of what it used to be.

I think I just saw an e-bay listing for 125gl of propane... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Guess that imposssible is an overstatement, more like very unlikely considering the tank that would have to be carried etc.
