Junk yard find MF65 for $500--few questions

Like the title says, I scored a MF65 propane tractor at a local scrap yard for $500. The previous owner was using it when it died and wouldn't re-start, he got mad and hauled it to the smasher. Long story short, I got it, replaced the condenser in the distributor and got it running. It's not perfect, but the clutch is good, all trans gears work, power steering works, 3PH works, & the PTO works. I has some implement tires that I put on the front, it needs rear tires, doesn't have any brakes to speak of and needs a muffler.

I'm trying to find a parts source and any info I can...I haven't been able to find a rebuild kit for the Bendix Zenith propane carb online, it NEEDS brakes, and a muffler. Overall, I dont think I got hurt too bad...$500 and about 2 days of labor on my part getting it lined out.

Well, I think the rear tires are original. I can almost see the air inside the tires, they are so weather checked. The rims are rusted out around the valve stem hole, so I will probably put some wheels/tires off an IH combine I have.

Try this site. I didn't see your carb on there but I didnt look for long. i have ordered form them in the past and their price and serce are good.

Nice find:thumbsup:. Your 65 looks a lot better than the 1964 MF135 diesel I bought 5 years ago.
