Im thinking about jumping up to a grand L40. I have a 2005 B3030 HSDC, turfs with rim guard, stereo, auxillary 12 volt power up front,403 loader, 2782 front snowblower w/hydraulic chute control. (snowblower is brand new-never used).300 hours on the machine, always stored inside, top condition. Anyone have an idea what this is worth? Thanks, Scott.

Scott,

I have the front quick hitch/blade (no blower) with a similar setup and I was offered about $20k as trade in. You should be able to sell the tractor outright for that or a little more here in the North East. If I had the $$ I would have upgraded to the new Grand L40 series myself for the better loader.

I am looking at B3030HSDCC and L3240HSTC. I like the somewhat smaller footprint/weight of the B3030 but enjoyed the spacious cab of the 3240.
I have less than 3 acres, side hill (10% grade) of mowing (including over septic field) and winter snow removal for 200 foot driveway.

Can I ask why you are upgrading from 3030?

I love the 3030, its an awesome machine. I would like the additional pto hp & lift height & capacity of the L series loader. Nothing is etched in stone on this deal as the specs have to work for me, footprint is the big issue. Last time i checked the L's were just to heavy for working on established turf. That was some time ago, so im prospecting at present.

As I poster earlier this week I am thinking of going to the L3940 hsdc with turf tires, but wonder if the weight will be too much even though my lawn is really a mowed field and not real fancy. I have the B series now and it works, but would like tha comfort of the L and the larger bucket for snow. My NH dealer tells me that I shoud have no problem if I take the FEL as I do now. Let me know how what you find out. Thanks

I purchased the 3030HSDC because at the time it met my criteria very well, light foot print, enough power and factory cab. I still require a light foot print, however, my power demands have grown. I need more pto & fel power!
