Just got back from the dealer where I bought a Grand L 3940 HST with a 724 loader, a Woods HSS 72C mower, and a Woods GB 72 box cutter. I sure as heck hope I don't have buyer remorse in the next few weeks.

You may but it will pass. That sounds like a nice package. Did you get a Q/A on the loader? What size bucket did you get?

If you start feeling a little remorse, go out and do some work with it. The remorse will soon pass. That's a great tractor. I have the earlier version-L3830. No loader, but I couldn't pass on the deal. I borrowed it from my dad and he bought another before I returned it. :thumbsup: Yes, he's a GREAT dad.

I always get sick when I spend a large sum of money, so I don't do it often, but it quickly fades when the purchased item lives up to expectations as I am sure yours will. I came very close to getting one of those before I found a good used L5030 HSTC; very impressive tractor.

I am trying to put together the list of chores to do. I will be using the tractor both at the property I live on, and the 30 acres I have about an hour away, which is where we hope to eventually build a house. Good thing I have a F350Diesel to pull the trailer wit hthat sucker on it.

I like the "hunt" moreso than the signing on the dotted line as it were....

Sounds like a good package and certainly closer to what I would get on the next go-round than what I have.

I cant say enough good things about the 40 series L's. Hydrostat + is awesome. The options for tranny use matching the task @ hand are vast!
