Greetings All, finally joined TBN, though I have used these forums for quite a few years to help with my problems. I have a Kubota BX 24 with the loader and back hoe options and also own a NorthStar 3 point mount hydraulic log splitter. Today I purchased the Wallenstein BXM32 3 point mount chipper / shredder. I also have a "Log Hog" I use my rig mainly for firewood operations for heating , woodlot cleaning and also standard tractor stuff with the loader and backhoe. Today was the first time I have used the PTO on my tractor and so that was a learning experience. I had to do a lot of adjusting to get the PTO safety switch dialed in so I could get off the seat while chipping brush. I am sure the design could be a tad better. I am happy with my rig as it runs well, is easy to maintain, and does everything I need it to do around my acreage.
